This 5,500 square foot summer home was designed by Priestley Architects to embrace the style and spirit of its Northeast Harbor century-old architectural community. A generously scaled entry hall and living room open to an expansive stone terrace, porch, and lawn areas; a live-in kitchen includes a comfortable sitting area, breakfast corner, and fireplace.

2012 Maine AIA Honor Award

To suit the art-collector owner, this compact residence, formerly a blacksmith shop, was designed with a clean, minimal style to suit the owner’s aesthetic. Because of the restrictions on expanding the footprint, the design incorporated a new dormer, stair, and a cross gable.
