Waterfront Residence

Bremen, Maine

Hugging the shore of Hockomock Channel in Muscongus Bay, this stately retreat is organized around a central Great Room and a gallery that displays the owner’s collection of antiques and folk art. The owners enjoy antiquing and their new home is full of their flea market finds. A large screened porch and exterior fireplace, fronting the side terrace, extends living to the outdoors. Stylistically, this home exemplifies the classic coastal Shingle Style design typical of John Calvin Stevens in the early 1920s.
